Located in Saint Louis, Missouri, Laumeier Sculpture Park is one of the country's oldest and largest sculpture parks. Their annual Art Fair is their biggest fundraiser and it draws crowds in the tens of thousands every year.
I collaborated with the marketing team to create the light, whimsical illustrations that made up the branding for the 2016 fair. I used these elements on all sorts of marketing and print collateral for the event.
I designed a tote bag for a contest while working at Whole Foods Market for a region-wide competition. Though my design ended up not winning, I liked it so much, I decided to make it into a t-shirt instead!
WHOLE FOODS CHALKBOARDS
A smattering of chalkboards I've made in my six years as a store graphic artist at Whole Foods Market.
SELF-PROMOTIONAL CHALKBOARDING FLIER
To find some extra work as a chalkboard artist, I created this flier to put up in my neighborhood and around the city.
VALENTINE'S + GALENTINE'S DAY CARDS
I made a series of Valentine's and Galentine's Day cards to sell at pop-ups and online in my shop Black Wood Prints. These are hand carved linocuts that I printed using a hand-cranked Vandercook Press at Central Print, the non-profit letterpress studio and workshop where I'm a member.
WHOLE FOODS MARKET T-SHIRT
I was asked to design a t-shirt for the Market Team at Whole Foods Market Central West End. I wanted to capture the fun spirit of the team in a way that encompassed what it’s all really about: good food!
